“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
About Me:
I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist – Candidate (LCT-C) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. My path to therapy began in classrooms—from nearly a decade teaching in Thailand to supporting students in northern Indigenous communities. These experiences deepened my appreciation for cultural identity, resilience, and human connection, eventually leading me home to New Brunswick to pursue my long-standing goal of becoming a therapist.
My work is person-centred and collaborative. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including ACT, CBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and the Grief Recovery Method, tailoring each session to meet your needs. I am an EMDR trained therapist (EMDRIA-approved) and incorporate its principles into my evolving trauma-informed practice. I believe therapy can be a space for grounded exploration—one that includes curiosity, creativity, and sometimes even humour.
