Adaptive yoga, or accessible yoga is a type of practice that considers all bodies and abilities. During this 60-minute class participants will work on strength, stretching, yogic breath, meditation and relaxation. The class begins seated in a chair to warm up. Approximately half of the class time is done in a standing position, with the option of using a chair or the wall to assist with balance. This class does not involve participants getting up or making their way down to the floor.
