Therapy is one part of healing, but it's not the only one.
We also work with community members and partners to offer additional programs like trauma-focused yoga classes. These services can help support your healing process. Caring for your mind, body and spirit is an essential part of your trauma recovery. Our goal as a Healing Centre is to not only offer therapy services, but to also create a space where people can share connections and grow together as a community.
We offer a number of yoga classes to help you build strength, improve your immune system, decompress, reset, and release stress and anxiety. We welcome all levels of ability and classes are suitable for beginners or more advanced yogis. All yoga classes can be adapted to meet your individual needs.
Classes are currently held on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11:30am. Drop in rates are $12 + tax or you can purchase a 10 class pass for $100 + tax.
Many yoga classes are on hold for the summer. If you would like to see some fall classes added to our schedule please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Massage By Bekah
I have been a registered massage therapist since 2020. Starting up my practice in the pandemic has been challenging, but I have had so much support from the community! My treatments consist of deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, active release therapy, intraoral massage and myofascial cupping. I believe that these techniques provide my clients with the best results.
Having experienced chronic pain myself, I believe that this has ultimately made me a better RMT. I am able to relate to my clients who are either experiencing acute injuries or chronic conditions. When experiencing pain there can be nothing more frustrating than feeling like those around you do not understand. I am originally from Grand Manan and when I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, going for hikes, doing yoga, reading and spending time with my fiancé. I am currently expecting my first baby! I look forward to working with any potential clients and am always open for a chat if anyone has questions or concerns regarding massage therapy!
