Meet Kelly Reid

Licensed Counselling Therapist (C)

Together, we can discover what you need to be the best version of you. As a professional, a parent, a partner, I understand how stressful wearing different hats can be, so I value personal wellness and I realize that everyone’s wellness needs are different. Let’s discover your strengths to bring you to where you want to be so you can enjoy your life.

I am a graduate from Yorkville University with a Master’s of Arts in Psychology Counselling and I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals whether it was in private homecare, hospital settings, crisis helplines, special care homes or schools. Now, I am recognized as a New Brunswick Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate (LCT-C) and together we can decide what therapeutic modality would be the best fit for you. The modalities I typically draw from are Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I enjoy working with adults and teens in the areas of stress management, anxiety, depression, parenting, grief, and loss.

In my spare time, I love doing anything outdoors, whether it is as simple as drinking my coffee outside in the fresh air, listening to live music, walking the trails or enjoying a bonfire. I would rather do yardwork than housework and I rely on a bit of sense of humour to help navigate my own stressful situations. I am here to provide an open, confidential space to let you be you.
