Meet Stacey Hill
As a registered Social Worker, with over ten years of clinical social work practice, I strive to deliver compassionate and empathetic support to assist clients in finding their inner strengths and abilities. I have worked extensively in both private practice and public settings with adults, couples, and adolescents addressing a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, low self esteem, body image, grief and loss, relationship issues, personal illness, trauma, and issues regarding sexuality or sexual identity.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are among the approaches drawn upon in session.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have a diverse set of life experience that informs my perspective as a therapist. I believe that individuals are the experts in their own lives and therefore my role is to collaborate during the therapeutic experience.
STACEY IS DOING VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
