Making Space For What Comes Next
Rising Tides is preparing to move to Place 400 in Fall 2026 – an exciting next step in the growth of our practice! Our new location will allow us to create a welcoming, thoughtfully designed space that better supports our clients, our therapists, and the work we do together. We expect to be settled into our new home by December 1, and we’ll share updates here as the space takes shape.
Where We Started
Rising Tides began in 2018 at 3636 Westfield Road, near the Saint John and Grand Bay-Westfield town line. Located within a professional health centre alongside family physicians, a dental practice, physiotherapy, and a gym, the practice began with just one therapist, our founder, Lori McIsaac Bewsher.
After years of working with broader systems as a social worker, Lori was drawn to private practice by the opportunity to work more deeply with individuals. What began as a solo practice gradually expanded, with two additional therapists joining Rising Tides in the three small offices in a suite shared within the family physicians.
In 2019, the growing team moved to a new location in Grand Bay-Westfield. Rising Tides initially rented the basement space before purchasing the building in 2020, another important step in putting down roots and creating room for the practice to grow

Growing Into Wellness
Rising Tides Healing Centre, Grand Bay-Westfield
In 2020, Lori purchased the Grand Bay-Westfield building and began developing it into a multidisciplinary wellness centre. The practice was rebranded as Rising Tides Healing Centre, reflecting a broader vision for collaborative care. Alongside a growing team of therapists, the centre offered massage therapy, osteopathy, yoga classes, and nutrition services.
We loved the building and what we were creating there, but the COVID-19 pandemic made it increasingly difficult to grow a multidisciplinary practice outside the city. To attract more clinicians, reach more clients, and continue developing our vision, we made the decision to relocate to Saint John and join Town Health Solutions.
Town Health’s complementary services made it a natural next step for Rising Tides. The move gave our therapists greater visibility and allowed the practice to continue growing within a larger health-care environment.
A New Chapter in Saint John
In 2023, Rising Tides relocated to Saint John and joined Town Health Solutions with a team of six therapists. We began with three offices and, as the practice continued to grow, renovated additional space to create three more.
Town Health offered far more than office space. Working alongside chiropractic care, physiotherapy, naturopathic medicine, massage therapy and other partners gave us the collaborative health-care environment we had envisioned. Over time, these professionals became not only trusted partners, but also valued friends.
Since arriving at Town Health, Rising Tides has grown to a team of 13. Even after expanding our original space, we once again found ourselves nearing capacity. It became clear that the next stage of our growth would require a larger space designed around the particular needs of our clients, therapists, and practice.
Our move to Place 400 is the next step in that journey but it is also built upon the relationships, support, and opportunities that Town Health has given us. We are deeply grateful for this chapter and for the people who helped Rising Tides grow within it.

Our move to Place 400 gives Rising Tides the opportunity to create a space shaped around what we have learned and what we hope to build next. With more office spaces and a flexible multipurpose room, the new location will give our growing team room to work, collaborate, and continue expanding the ways we support our community.

What Visitors Need To Know
Our new location will be on the second floor of Place 400 on Main Street in Saint John. The building is fully accessible, with elevator access to our suite. Free parking is available on site, and we’ll share more detailed information about entrances, parking, and arrival instructions as we get closer to the move. Until then, appointments will continue at our current location at 96 Stanley Street.
